Yesteryear Collection

The Civil War was fading away in 1866 when Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel bought some land around Lynchburg, Tennessee. He built a distillery at Cave Spring because its pure limestone iron-free water was ideal for making whiskey. Jack Daniel Distillery No.1 became the nation's first registered distillery. Jack Daniel's "Smooth Sippin' Tennessee Whiskey" was the result of that perfect spring water and the "Old Lincoln County Process," which consisted of mellowing the liquor and filtering it through charcoal.

Less than 40 years after Jack Daniel's Distillery earned its reputation, another name achieved legendary status: International-Harvester. IHC ultimately produced a full line of trucks, buses and express wagons. In the 1930s, the company began using alphabetical designations for its new series, including the 1934 C-series IHC light-duty truck. Its fame rested on being the first IHC truck to feature automobile-like styling.

Now, the famous 1934 International-Harvester C-Series light-duty truck is rigged out to deliver the smooth taste of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey in a handsome die-cast replica. Your Jack Daniel's 1934 International Pickup Truck is meticulously crafted and marked with authentic Jack Daniel's graphics. The safe in the truck bed is a replica of the one Jack daniel kicked in anger one day, which sadly caused the foot infection that resulted in his untimely demise. In his honor, the safe is marked with the familiar black label of Jack Daniel's "Old Time No.7." This officially authorized die-cast model is produced by - and available only from - Matchbox Collectibles.
